We will focus on the presentation of priority topics expected for the first
call for proposals of the H2020 in “Health, demographic change and
wellbeing”.

Objectives of this presentation
All the information that will be presented is based on an informal draft
discussion document that does not at this stage cover all relevant aspects
(indicative budgets…), nor does it prejudge the outcome of the ongoing
negociations on H2020.

Novelty
- Build on the FP7 programme but with less detailed topics description in order to
allow greater freedom to the applicant community as well as broader participation
and more innovative approaches.
- Many topics will be subjected to a 2-steps evaluation process : first evaluation
step will request only a short summary of the proposal and only those retained will
proceed to the second evaluation step that requests a full proposal
-Exceptions to the 2-stage approach for a number of ‘closer-to-market’ topics
(topics using the SME instrument…)
