Overview
Thailand is considered as the country that possess multiple world records;
the largest gold Buddha, the largest restaurant, and the tallest hotel. But the
incredible things that Thailand marks is how it is popular with thousand elephants
or how some of foreign name it as ‘land of smile’. It has something to do with culture
and society. Consisting of Chinese culture, Indian culture, and culture from other
country in ASEAN, overwhelming a Buddhist country, offering hospitality from
the society with their smile, are number of things that invites us to be curious
about Thailand.
On Scholarion Thailand, we invite the scholars to reveals their idea concerning
on cultural issue. Since Modern civilization now-days massively develop in
controlling all of the aspect of life, in other way the culture that express human’s
way of life need to be preserve to make the society balance. Who are we in society
regarding to preserving the culture? And what can we do for balancing modern
civilization and culture? Write and describe your ideas, including your own
observations and experiences for being awarded as scholar.

BenefitCulture UndertakingAlthough Thai culture is mostly influenced by Buddhism principle, Hinduism also takes
its part in building Thai culture composition. It is clearly see on the art, literature, and
custom and value, and this is what Scholars will explore more. The scholars will be
given a chance to feel the ambience of this multi-culture country.
Apprehended Thai SocietySeems to be homogeneous, Thailand literally represents various group. Scholar will
get involved in ‘Thai melting pot’ by taking a look and interacting with Thai society itself.
Visiting Thai common place will lead the scholar for witnessing Thai society
Educational ExplorationScholars will experience the educative learning by visiting a prestigious university
to feel environment and the student life. and learning the people and culture
of the country.

DAY 1: WARM AND INSPIRING- Airport Assistance
Scholars arrive at DMK Airport and meet the committee to have an
airport assistance while waiting for the other Scholars to gather.
- Provision & Welcoming Session The scholars will be brought to have
a preparation for the welcoming and scholar insight session.
Scholar and committee will be gathered at the welcoming session to get
to know each other.
- Scholar Insight Session
Scholars will be given a chance to expose themselves by introducing
themselves and sharing their knowledge and experience to inspire others.

DAY 2: ENLIGHTENING AND MESMERIZING
- International Exchange Program & Sharing Session
Scholars will experience the International Exchange Program & Sharing
Session and expected to get involved in discussion session with Thai students
in the class at one of the best university in Thailand.
- Cultural Excursion
Scholars will be pleased to have Thailand Excursion to discover Thai culture
insights. They will explore Wat Pho and Wat Arun to learn more about the
reclining Buddha temples including sculptures, architectures, chedis,
paintings and crafts. Then, it will be continued to Asiatique Riverfront Market
to experience largest market in ASEAN. Those will help the scholars to enrich
their culture knowledge in Thailand’s market and society.

DAY 3: WORTHY AND IMPRESSIVE
- Closing Program, Farewell
Closing program will be filled with farewell among the Scholars who spend
same program and activities for several days together. May this program
give an everlasting memory and enrich the networking for future collaboration.
- Transfer to Airport
Scholars will be leaving from Bangkok International Airport to their
country road. Let’s rock as agent of better world change!
