Welcome Message We are delighted to invite you to ‘God's own country’ for IASCON 2018 for the first �me, to be held on 5th to 7th
October 2018. This will be a grand event at Calicut, once the capital of the formidable Zamorin dynasty and Malabar .
Kerala especially enjoys unique geographical features that have made it one of the most sought a�er tourist
des�na�ons in Asia with an equable climate, a long shoreline with serene beaches, tranquil stretches of emerald
backwaters, lush hill sta�ons, exo�c wildlife, waterfalls, sprawling planta�ons and paddy fields.
The theme for the conference is “Evidence based diagnosis and management ”. In this event, we will strive to
impart new fron�ers of Knowledge in current scien�fic evidence based informa�on and technical skills in the field
arthroscopic surgery. We assure to keep the presenta�ons balanced, s�mula�ng and catering to your personal
learning goals. You will iden�fy real improvements to implement immediately in your arthroscopy prac�ce.
IASCON 2018 will explore the recent developments and techniques in arthroscopy of all major joints from the
masters in the field. There will be exci�ng live surgeries; case based panel discussions, hands on workshops and
interac�ve sessions. The topics will cover indica�ons for arthroscopy, surgical techniques, �ps and tricks of trade and
rehabilita�on protocols. Whether you are novice or expert, IASCON 2018 offers opportuni�es of interest to all. This
conference aims to make the surgeon master the art of evidence based arthroscopy with individual's cra�smanship
and a team-based approach to ensure pa�ent safety.
