Unlock housing
1. A pair of plastic bolts holdson to the battery door.
2. Use a tweezer to seperate the screws and pull them out. Then it’s possible to remove the door.
3. Gently pull the two housing parts from each other.

1. Solder wires on the microphone.Brush EGC-1700 coat on the solder points.
2. Put the mic. into the suspension. 3. Microphone complete p/n 15284100.
4. Solder the microphone wires on the amplifi er as shown.

Receiver complete
Ordering a new receiver, you get a receiver complete in box. Receiver complete p/n 15282300.
Solder the rec. wires on the amplifi er as shown.

Replacement of batt. springs & audio board
1. Remove the solder material from (-) spring.
2. Turn the amplifi er on the other side and remove the solder material from (+) & (-) battery springs.
3. Gently pull out the batt. springs from the amplifi er.

Replacing the audio boardunsolder the 3 points and remove the board. Placethe new board in chassisand solder.

Removal of AI cover
For removing the AI cover, use a scalpel and cut carefully around the cover.
Use a tweezer or a small screwdriverto fl ip out the cover.
The Audio Input is now ready for use.

Replacement of switch
4. Gently bend the legs down to the solder points and nip off the ends, then solder.
3. Bend the legs as shown and screw the switch back on the chassis.

2. Cut the legs off the new switch as shown.

1. Remove soldermaterial from the switch solderpoints & remove the screw. Then pull out the switch.
5. Fix the screw with red laquer.

Replacement of volume control
1. Suck off the solder material and push the VC out.
2. Take the new VC parts and put them together.
3. The VC is ready to be fi tted on the amplifi er. Screw on the nut and sol-der the two pins.
4. Fix the nut with red laquer.

Replacement of telecoil
1. Unsolder the two telecoil wires and remove the glue fi xing the coil.Pull it gently out.
2. Replace the new coil inside the ampli-fi er and solder.

Test
When testing the instrument a test ringis needed to stabilize the instrument.Place the test ring on the tube.
Push up the test ring to fi x the tube on the hook.
Place the instrument and 2cc coupler in the test chamber.
