Humic and fulvic acids
Humus = soil cement
1. Humus + Clay = Clay Humic Complex CHC
2. CHC is the cement between big soil particles (sand, loam)
forming then aggregates
Presence of CHC:Good soil, fluffy soil, perfect structure
Absence of CHC :Soil compaction, no aeration

Conclusions
Trial: Humifirst on Carrot
Whatever the N dose and whatever the quantity and the form of Humifirst,the humic substances of Tradecorp:
1. Increase the marketable yield and the % of marketable yield.
2. Increase the marketable yield after short and long storageby reducing losses.
3. Increase yield even by reducing the nitrogen supply by 25 % .
4. Improve the NUE nitrogen use efficacy.
5. The best results are obtained with the lowest N dose (45 kg N/ha) andthe highest dose of Humifirst (25 L/ha and 2,1 kg Humifirst WG + 25 L/haequivalent to 35 L/ha).

Humifirst on Cauliflower
Projet Interreg WIPG Jade Info n°9 nov. 2010
Conclusions:
Yiels: Humifirst is reaching good performance closed to the best one
(treatment 3).
Quality: Humifirst offers excellent quality with the highest % of Cauliflower of
Extra quality (62,5%);
Nitrogen evolution: during the crop cycle, there is 2 times less nitrates in
the soil treated with Humifirst on retrouve (comparison treatment 3 and 10). It
mean a better use of N fertilisation in the beginning of the crop cycle thanks
to Humifirst application.
At harvest, the soil treated with Humifirst contains less residual nitrates (-
12%).
Humifirst improves harvest quality and ensures a better use of N
fertilisation leaving less residual nitrates in the soil after the harvest

Conclusions
Trial: Humifirst on Onion
Whatever the dose, Humifirst:
1. Increase the number of onions harvested per hectare.
2. Increase the average weight of onion.
3. Increase the average size of onion.
4. Increase the brutto, marketable yield and % of marketable yield
5. The best results are obtained with Humifirst 20 L/ha
