Stop the Nazis

Black and white unity against racism and Tory cuts is thekey to a better future for us all

Unite Against Fascism (UAF) is a broad coalition that organises to stop fascist organisations fromgrowing. It has led major campaigns and protests against the British National Party (BNP), theNational Front (NF) and English Defence League.

Following the 2014EuropeanandEnglish-council election results, all anti-fascistswill have celebrated thenews that the BNP lost their only European Parliamentary seat. This defeat shows that the majority ofpeople rejected the BNP’s message of hate.

Andthese rights have to be defended. Fascistsalways try to divide us - by race, by gender, byreligion - in order to secure the power of theirrich backers. When the Nazis won power inGermany in the 1930s they murderedhundreds of thousands of trade unionists, disabled peopole, socialists and otherminority groups as well as the six million jewsfor which they are infamous.

And this is not just history. In Swansea wehave had a National Front 'white pride' eventin eachof the last twoyears. Thesehavebeensuccessfully opposed by UAF as a broadcoalition including the Labour Party, PlaidCymru and Swansea Council.Unite Against Fascism is proud of the role it
