The aims of survey and study: Analysing professional qualification and career
trajectories of the managers of Lithuanian public health institutions
Creating a directory and a yearbook of managers of Lithuanian public health institutions
Using collected information about the executive staff of health care institutions for:
Improvement of MSc studies in public health management;
Creating expert data base for public policy research in the field of health management.
Research Method –
questionnaire-based mailed survey
The survey process: Questionnaires distributed to all members of the
Lithuanian Public Health Managers Society
Initial No of respondents: 210; after up-dating the list, there were 74 obsolete data items
deleted from the list; and 46 new members (respondents) added.
119 filled out questionnaries received
Response rate 65,4%
Survey conducted in 2002 in the framework of the Kaunas Regional Public Health Observatory
