Tri-Town Upgraded WhileServicing the Community

The Tri-Town Water District’sTreatment Facility in Addison,Vermont had reached itscapacity. Otter CreekEngineering analyzed theDistrict’s current and project-ed needs, and designed afacility upgrade that creativelyintegrated new filtration andcontrol technology within the existing structure whilemaintaining the system’streatment and pumpingcapacity throughoutconstruction.

The Leland & Gray Union HighSchool’s water supply failed tomeet the requirements of theUSEPA’s Lead and Copper Rule.Otter Creek engineeringevaluated the water qualityparameters and designed a costeffective treatment system thatbrings the school into compliancewith regulatory requirements.

New Pump Station to MeetWilgus State Park’s Water Needs

Demand at the Wilgus State Parkin Ascutney, Vermont had exceededthe capacity of the facility’s watersupply. Otter Creek Engineeringdesigned storage and pumpingsystems that meet the needs of thePark’s day and overnight users. Thenew pump station was designed tomatch the architecture of the Park’shistoric buildings constructed by theCivilian Conservation Corps duringthe Great Depression.
