Ms. Gilmore’s Virtual Summer Reading and Writing Camp
Are you looking for a fun and engaging summer camp to avoid the dreaded summer slide? Want to keep your child learning in this virtual world to better prepare them for the next grade level? Then you won't want to miss Ms. Gilmore's virtual summer read-
ing and writing camp!

The camp will be held Monday through Thursday from 8 am to 11 am
the first three weeks in June.
There is a quick turn around for registration and limited spots available, so please re-serve your spot as soon as possible so you don't miss out on this great virtual learning opportunity.

*Summer slide is a phrase used to describe the
slide backwards that many children make in
reading and math skills over the summer. You
can help your child avoid the summer slide by
spending a little time each day practicing their
reading and math skills with them.
Virtual Summer Book Club
Join Mrs. Csider’s Summer Book club! This virtual book club will have students discussing books, making book recommendations, and review-
ing books throughout the month of June.

Virtual Media Center Technology Summer Program
Do you want to improve your coding skills, your Mindcraft skills or learn Tink-
ercad, the 3D printer program?
This might be the program for you. You will be asked to be creative and learn
basic information about the programs. There will be a final product due at the end of the program. Access to
Launchpad is necessary.

Sizzling Summer Science
This virtual learning opportunity will explore 3rd and 4th grade science topics
using online simulation labs that support material tested on the 5th grade
state science assessment.
We will pollinate flowers, identify minerals, discover and convert energy,
observe Earth and moon patterns, conduct experiments, and
much more!

iReady is Available to All!
We are pleased to announce that iReady My Path lessons
will be available to all students through the month of June!
If you would like for your student(s) to take advantage of
this opportunity, all you have to do is …have them keep go-
ing! Continue working 45 minutes per week in reading and
math on their My Path lessons throughout the month of
June.
