Exporting Your Planting DataFrom John Deere Apex™ (as raw GS3 2600 or G3 2630 files)

Step 1: Export Planting Data from John Deere Apex™ onto a Computer

1 Open John Deere Apex™.

2 Select “Unload”, then select “Manage Archive”.

4 Select “Browse” next to your John Deere monitor

model (A), then select your Desktop, and select “OK”.

Select the Profile drop down menu (B), then select

“New”. Name your profile and select “OK” (C).

Your raw file has now been exported from Apex

onto the desktop of your computer in a folder

named with the current date.

3 Select the “Client” that contains the planting data you

want to export in the “View Files only for Select Fields”

drop down menu (A), then select all the planting data

you wish to export (B), then select “Export” (C).

Step 2: Zip Your Files

1 Select “Desktop”.

2 Right click on the file you just exported, select

“Send to” (A), then “Compressed (zipped) folder” (B).

Your files are now ready to be imported into your

Climate FieldView account.

data to be processed.

5 Select the planting data you wish to import, then

select “Import”.

6 The planting data selected will be imported into your

Climate FieldView account.

3 Select “Upload Files”.
