SULLIVAN ILLINOIS
Sullivan, A Great Place to LiveSullivan is a great place to live and raise a family. Our community includes the safety and peacefulness of small town rural life and the proximity to larger cities and activities within easy driving distance.
Housing in Sullivan ranges greatly in price and style. Tree lined streets with 100+ year old homes within walking distance to the park and schools are here as well as new developments in semi-rural locations and secluded farm houses on private acreage. Senior housing is also available to fi ll a wide range of needs from independent living to full nursing care.
Sullivan schools are award winning and have received the State of Illinois Golden Apple award numerous times. Extracurricular activities for kids are diverse and include everything from the elementary school chess club and glee club to high school sports, scholastic bowl, award winning band and national show choir. Sullivan also has the Blue Dolphin swim team for ages kindergarten-high school.
Several churches with traditional and modern services welcome visitors and the local Ministerial Association works to help fulfi ll needs within the community.
Many social groups enjoy doing community service in town including the Sullivan Ambucs, Lions Club, Rotary, Knights of Columbus, Masons, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts just to name a few.
