Promoting good physical health, nutrition, and sleep habits contribute to mental wellness, greater self-esteem, and have positive effects on readiness and performance.

Encouraging Soldiers to seek medical care for aches and pains helps address problems early and enhances their resilience.

Fostering an environment for healthy behavior supports and develops Soldiers to perform at optimal levels personally and professionally, enabling them to thrive on a sustained basis.

Encouraging Soldiers to directly address and overcome fears builds trust and enhances the management of anxiety and stress, while improving cognitive fitness and morale.

Communicating to Soldiers that each and every one is a valued member of the Army team and essential to readiness and mission accomplishment validates their commitment to service and living the Army Values.

Demonstrating and encouraging self-control in Soldiers helps regulate impulsive behaviors and improves decision making.

Helping Army families to meet financial challenges and obligations can reduce stress and positively affect Soldier performance.Sharing information about Army, local and national resources can help Soldiers and families bounce back from difficulties and promote satisfaction with Army life.
