Thank you to all who took part in our Totus Tuus
program last week. We had over 50 of our
children participate in either the daytime or
evening programs. This was an excellent way
to stay connected with the faith in a fun setting
over the summer months.
With the arrival of Fulton Sheen, the diocese has
created a web page with more information
about the Cause and any possible upcoming
Beatification. I encourage you to go
to celebratesheen.com to learn more. From
this page, you can follow links to see the
expanded hours for visits to the Cathedral if you
would like to visit the tomb and pray.
Volunteers will be needed to help with some
events leading up to a future Beatification, and
especially around the date of the Beatification
itself. If you want to volunteer, please contact
Sr. Lea who works in the Sheen Museum located
in the Spalding Pastoral Center. The Sheen
Museum is also a wonderful place to visit if you
haven’t been there yet.
This coming weekend, there will be a 3 on 3
basketball tournament at St. Thomas. Anyone is
welcome to sign up and form a team. The
proceeds from this event will help pay for new
uniforms for our student athletes. Come out
and support our Comets!

Support St. Thomas School You can support our school in several easy ways, all through ordinary purchases and shopping you regularly do every day:
PURCHASE COMET CASH When you buy Comet Cash gift cards after Mass for your ordinary purchases, or as gifts you give to
others, a percentage of the value of those cards returns to the school. Part of this money goes to the PTO, and part is
dedicated to tuition assistance. You can also place orders by contacting Angie Robenstein at angierobenstein@stthomas-
school.net.
SHOP WITH SCRIP Beyond the gift cards available after Mass, additional retailers are available online at Shop with Scrip. Go
to shopwithscrip.com and use our school code, BA38E9AD7759, to register.
SHOP AT KROGER If you have a Kroger card, you can support St. Thomas School with your purchases. Register your Kroger
Card online at Kroger.com. Under your Plus Card, go to the Account Summary, Community Awards. Enter HG118 or search
St. Thomas. Even if you have enrolled in the past, you must re-enroll every year to renew this benefit to our school.
