Polish EmCom use the new technologies in exercises
Friedrichschafen 21-st of June 2019.
WinLink in polish SP EmCom practice.
WinLink become a very popular, realiable and cost effective radio field e-mail messages
exchange system, between emergency communication team and government or administration
offices.
In Poland we have since 2018 stable working own Winmore WinLink node SR5WLK working
nearby Warsaw capital city of Poland (Mazovian Voivodeship – central part of Poland) on
frequency: 3,5955 [MHz] on 80 meters band. Another freqiencies are prohibited, but not used
yet: 5,3545 [MHz], 7,0465 [MHz], 10,1445 [MHz].
SP EmCom have in plan during this year installation and startup two another nodes: SR2WLK in
Inowrocław city (Cuiavian Voivodeship - northern part of Poland) on frequency 7,0465 [MHz]
and SR9WLK in Cracow (Lesser Poland Voivodeship – southern part of Poland) on frequency
5,3545 [MHz].
Nodes SR2WLK, SR5WLK and SR9WLK will be working as one network convertibly on
indicated upper frequencies in terms of internal needs. Coverage bands 80, 60, 40 and
eventually in particular cases 30 meters - gives the possibility of securely and reliable contact via
WinLink in several bands, radio propagation conditions, moment of day etc.
Maybe since 2019/2020 we will start with PACTOR communication mode.

net control station by SP side:
• main net control: SP5MASR by Mazovian Emercency Communication Network
(operators Maciek SQ5EBM, Adrian SQ5AM, and Wit SP5WIT),
• backup net control: SP0MASR by Lesser Poland Emergency Communication Network
(operators Michał SP9XWM and Tomek SP9SCZ).
net control station by DL side: DL0NFD,
net control station by PA side: PI9D.
Time: 13:00 – 14:30 local time.
Main scope of activities: checking the phone SSB communication on 40 and 80 meters band
and sending the chekpoint e-mails via WinLink system between net control station from
SP, DL and PA. Both part of tests are completed and finished succesfully in spite of CQWW
CW contest (noisy and locked frequencies by contestmen colleagues – additional training
elements where we know what is to do ).

2-nd of March 2019
Author: Lesser Poland Emergency Communication Network
The main scope of training:
checking the properly DMR communication between five seperate
industry location under hypothetical fire hazard and main control
station located in Cracow city and backup field station located
nearby Nowy Sącz city.
Utilised only DMR brandmeister 70 [cm] band reapeters located in
Lesser Poland Voivodeship. Communication with usage special
dedicated group TG260015 on TS2.
Lesser Poland VoivodeshipDMR trainings
2-nd of March 2019
Conclusion:
1) Dynamically linked TG260015 on TS2 in not good in terms of higher priority groups
existed on several repaeters (temporarily lack of communication when TS2 is
locked by other corresponded people).
2) Proposed static linked TG260015 on TS2 on reapeters,
3) Instead of proposal in point 2 – proposed DMR reflector dedicated for SP EmCom,
because everyone have programmed in SP group 9 (lack collisions with other TS2
groups).
4) in special conditions usage of TS1 and TG9 in emergency cases.

Es’Hailsat 2 / QO-100 - satellite communication
in practice SP EmCom PZK
Colleagues from Mazovian Emergency Communication Network have started
the experiments with building field goboxes for receiving only and completely
receiving and transmitting with usage Es’Hailsat 2 amateur satellite
transponders.
Es’Hailsat is geostationery amateur communication satellite with available two
transponders:
1) narrowband analogue linear transponder: 2400,050 [MHz] – 2400,300
[MHz] uplink and 10489,550 [MHz] – 10489,800 [MHz] downlink
with 250 [kHz] bandwidth.
2) wideband digital transponder: 2401,500 [MHz] – 2409,500 [MHz] uplink and
10491,0 [MHz] – 10499,0 [MHz] downlink with 8 [MHz] bandwidth (for
example for amateur DVB transmission tests).
