The is a multilayer compo-site made of a polyester lap thermically adhered to a viscoelastic membrane of high density.
The combination of both materials is resul-ting in an excellent product designed to redu-ce airborne sound transmission in a high range of frequencies and more in particular in draining pipe systems.
The high density viscoelastic membrane is making a sound damp whereas the porous structure of the polyester lap which is a non toxic and recyclable product, improves the membrane's performance and converts the acoustic energy into thermic energy.
The is presented in rolls of 5,5 x 1,0 m (Length x Width) and has an overlap strip of 2 cm.
