System Introduction
Solartech solar pumping system consists of a solar pumping inverter, a data monitor for remote monitoring & control (optional), a pump and a solar array. Solar pumping system common accessories include solar combiner box, solar pumping control box, backed-up AC power supply control box and water level switch. Solar array supporting bracket, cables and AC output reactor (optional) are also used for implementing a complete solar pumping system.

Systematic Principle
Solar pumping inverter regulates and controls whole system operation, driving the pump by converting DC power produced by solar array into AC power, using MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) to adjust output frequency according to solar radiation in real time to fully apply the solar array produced power on the pump.The pump driven by a 1 or 3 phase AC induction motor or DC brushless motor draws water from deep-well, river or lake and transport water into reservoir, water tank, or irrigation system.Data monitor is used for GPRS remote monitoring and control of the solar pumping system, it collects the system operating data, and send the data to Solartech server, user can use Solar Winsight Mobile App or Web based SP Master Solar Pumping System Manage Platform to realize the operation and maintenance of solar pumping system remotely.

What types of solar pumping system does Solartech have?Solartech has both permanent magnet (DC brushless motor) solar pumping systems and AC solar pumping systems. A Solartech permanent magnet solar pumping system supports max. 178m water head and max. 36m3/day water flow. A Solartech AC solar pumping system supports max. 400m water head and max. 3000m3/day water flow. When the daily water demand or the water head exceeds one system's capacity, we can apply with several solar pumping systems together to meet the project requirements.
I need a solar pumping system, what information shall I give?Water head (total dynamic head), daily water demand, installation city name, preferred pump material (stainless steel or not), preferred pump type (submersible or surface), need diesel generator as back up or not. Or become Solartech distribution partner to get the access to SP Manager solar pumping system selection software.
Why the water supply of solar pumping system is calculated per day instead of per hour? Solartech solar pumping inverter uses MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) technology to regulate the pump operation according to solar radiation in real time, because solar radiation changes all the day time, so the water supply of solar pumping system is very different in every hour, but relatively constant if we calculate the daily water supply in different days.
When and how shall we use remote monitoring & control for solar pumping systems?Solartech released solar pumping remote monitoring & control system in 2016. Users can install a Solartech DM data monitor in system, using Solar Winsight smart remote monitoring & control App on a Android phone or Web based SP Master Solar Pumping Remote Monitoring Platform to realize remote monitoring & control of solar pumping system. The remote monitoring & control solar pumping system is required when (a) the system is installed far from cities, high cost on after service, (b) a consultant not at site is required to help with the installation, (c) system real-time operation status and historical water supply data are required to do the project commissioning and maintenance (d) inverter’s parameter needs to be reset according to the pump operation requirement.
