October 25th - FLOWERS DAY
On the occasion of flowers day, our blooming buds celebrated the beauty of flowers and their
myriad features. They churned out about the different flowers and their uses. Special attires and
props dressed them as flowers and enjoyed the day by singing about the flowers.
November 2017
November-14th – Children’s day
Children’s day was celebrated with gaiety and fervor at our school. It was the day where in
fun and frolic dominated. The programme begun with prayer, dance and tributes to Chacha Nehru. A
hilarious mime act was presented by our children. Informative play, enactment, songs were also
included on this day. The students enthusiastically participated in various competitions and they
rewarded with more valuable prizes.
November-17th - KG Field trip
Children of kindergarten were taken on a picnic to Bhairavar temple and ‘Thiruvadi soolam’
near Mahindra city. Their next visit was to the bird’s park at Sivananda Gurukulam. The various
species of dove, pigeons and peacock attracted
the interest of our tiny tots. It was
a great and a new exposure for
our toddles to travel with
their class teachers and
their lovely friends.
Teachers made it a love
feast for the kids to enjoy.
District level Chess Tournament - November 19th
District level Chess Tournament was held at our school nearly 250 students participated with
great zeal and won various prizes.
EXCURSION – DEC 8th
2017
It was a special day for us as our Management organized an excursion to Kishkinta for the
students I-IX.
It was a pleasant morning and we started our journey with an enthusiastic group of
282 students and 30 staff members in 5 buses.
The kids enjoyed the rides like speeding train , Dragon Coaster , Helicopter , Monkey
Jump, Aqua boat and Dodging car
Watching the 3D and 5D show was a mind boggling experience.
Having fun at Kishkinta Students came back to school by 6.00 pm
The day was unforgettable and the happy moments will be cherished in our hearts forever.
Tiny Tots Athletic Meet – Dec 12th
In recognition of the importance of sports in a child’s life we celebrated athletic meet for our
tiny tots. The day was graced with the presence of Mr. Gopinath, Yoga master of Indian
cricket team and Mr. Ravi, sports personality.
The day started with a March Past by all students of kindergarten. The students entertained
the audience with a spectacular drill, Karate and they performed various Aerobics exercises.
The idiom “All work and no play make Jack a dull boy” holds true, even for the young
learners. Sports, whether team-based or individual, are great for children as they provide not
just physical activity, but also help to build children’s self-esteem, confidence, social skills
and motivate them to excel in life. Children participated in large numbers by engaging in
innovative races like frog race, sack race, spider walk, obstacle race, ring toss, lucky throw,
colour segregation, bottle filling.
At the end of the event, parents participated in stepping stone race. It was exhilarating to look
at little ones cheering for their parents.
Christmas Celebration - December 23rd
The day began with the Christmas story presented by our teachers. We celebrated the spirit
of Christmas with Joy and Cheer. The festivities included Christmas carols singing and
delicious holiday treats, we also had Santa Claus joined the celebration and distributed
chocolate s to students.

International Yoga day
International Yoga day was celebrated on 21.06.2017 in our school campus. The yoga
demonstration was given by the students.
July 2017
Investiture ceremony
The school celebrated its investiture ceremony on 12.07.17. The school pupil leader, the
sports captain, the vice captain sports, house leaders and volunteers were elected and they
took up their responsibility by the oath taking.
Club Inauguration
Various SRSSS clubs were inaugurated. As a part of Eco and Heritage club there was a
display of traditional food items made from organic products.
Kamarajar’s Birthday was celebrated on 15.7.17.
On 27.7.17 A.P.J.Abdulkalam’s memorial day our students participated in silence rally took
place in Maraimalainagar.
KG Colours day celebration
August’15 2017
We celebrated our Independence day with zeal and spirit befitting the occation.
The chief guest Mr.K.Sriram unfurled the flag. The students with their colourful cultural
performance emerged patriotic feel among the crowd.
August’17 2017
Krishna Jeyanthi Celebration
Janmashtami festival was celebrated with great zeal and pomp by the children of Pre-
Primary. Our KG children dressed up as little Krishna and Radha. They celebrated the
occasion by singing and dancing with great joy.
Traffic rules awareness programme
Our physical trainer Mr.K.DheenaDhayalan attended the traffic awareness program at
Pallavaram Municipality which was conducted by Kanchipuram District collector. He
delivered a presentation about the traffic rules and safety measures and created awareness
among the students

Fruits and Veggetables day:
With an objective to create and educate children about the importance and consumption of
fruits and vegetables in regular diet, the Pre-Primary celebrated this day. The children dressed
up like fruits and vegetables with great zest.
Onam
On 4th
Sep by 10.30 am Onam celebrations were in full swing. Teachers and students
were in their stunning traditional dresses. The day was accompanied with a dance around the
pookolam.
Teachers’ day
On 5th
Sep Teachers’ day was celebrated in our campus with great enthusiasm. This
was celebrated to show our acknowledgement and recognition of the hard work put in by our
Teachers towards our development.
The teachers gave a good feast to the eyes of the students by performing various
events and debate. The teachers enjoyed the fun activities conducted by the students.
