un voluntario viene a la pizarra para escribir la fecha: today is: Monday ……..
la delagada escribe los nombres de los ausentes en la pizarra.
la profesora lanza una pregunta en plenaria:
Activity Nº 1La profesora muestra algunas figuras
relacionado a los diferentes tipos deLos estudiantes adivinan y escriben en sus
cuaderno el tipo de musica que ven a traves de las figuras.
Los estudiantes escriben la actividad nº 01 en sus cuadernos yrealizan repeticion en coro.
Los estudiantes hacen una refleccion:
¿Qué acaban de hacer con esta actividad?
los estudiantes responden oralmente.
Activity Nº 2Los estudiantes escuchan una entrevista y
responden a las siguientes preguntas. Questions:
What is the lead singer name of the band?______________________________What is the best known song of the
cranberries?________________________________Where does the concert take place?______________________________In which country did they get their success?______________________________What is the name of the radio?_____________________________
The teacher and students correct the activity in plenary.

esta actividad?¿Qué acaban de aprender con esta
actividad?¿De acuerdo a este texto de que grupo
y que canción específicamente creen Uds. que va hacer nuestro tema?
Students write the title in their notebooks
“ZOMBIE”
Activity Nº 3Prediction:Divide the vocabulary into three groups.
Bomb, child, to die, family, to fight,
gun, head, heart, mother, tank, violence.
Students and the teacher predict the meaning of these words.
Then, the teacher asks the students to categorize the words, dividing them into 3 groups.
Body People War
Students write all these information in their notebooks.
The teacher asks some questions related to the these words:
¿De acuerdo a estas palabras de que creen Uds. que se tratara la canción?
¿Qué creen Uds. Que significara la palabra “Zombie”?
Students try to answer to these questions.
Reflection:¿Qué tipo de información acaban de
aprender?
Activity Nº 4Students receive some handouts
to fill in the gaps with the missing words. Don´t play the song. (See Apendix)
Students check their answer in pairs. (play the song)
Correct it in open class. (Play the song again and sing together).
Play the song one more time to sing together with the full lyrics.
Each group discuss the following questions:
What is the song about? The song is about…….When do you think we behave like
zombie? I think……….
The teacher writes on the board some phrases or vocabularies to help students to have a good discussion.
Activity Nº6Students form groups of five.Each group receives a piece of
paper to order the lyrics of the song. (in the back side there is a message if the lyrics are in order)
Each group sings a part of the song.
Then, each group sings the whole song in the front of the class, without reading the lyrics.
ApplicationStudents elaborate a mini dicctionary with the phrases and vocabularies from the song.
