Season’s Greetings from North Shore Youth Council
NSYC hosted Soccer Shots at our School Aged Child Care Programs for the month of November.
Soccer Shots programs are filled with games and activities that are age appropriate and designed to keep kids moving. Soccer Shots helps children,
through soccer, to develop important character traits and self confidence while being introduced to the skills needed to play the game.

Gobble! Gobble! Turkey hats from Miller Avenue
Teen Discussion Group Alateen Support Groups at NSYC North Shore Youth Council is now hosting Alateen meetings. Alateen is a support group for teenagers, 12-18, who have been affected by someone else’s drinking whether it be a parent, grandparent, sibling, or friend.
Meetings take place Wednesdays 6:30pm-7:30pm @NSYC, Rocky Point For more information contact Paulette: 631-786-0368
In order to better serve our youth and families in the Miller Place, Rocky Point Shoreham-Wading River, &
Mt. Sinai school districts, our main recreation room will be open during the December break.
Recreation services will be available at our North Shore Youth Council site in Rocky Point only and is open
to currently enrolled participants in good standing in our child care program. Age appropriate recreation
activities will be provided.
Child care will be offered Monday, December 26-Friday, December 30.
We will have full day or half day programs available. Please see your site director
or call 631-744-0207 for more information.
School-Aged Child Care Program-Holiday Break Program
North Shore Youth Council presents FREE Prevention and
Education groups for our teens. Groups focus on addiction,
coping skills, peer pressure, risk taking behaviour, anger
management, family issues, and more.
