Imaizumi Seiki manufactures high-precision products, including machine tool parts, parts for optical measuring equipment, and aircraft parts. All manufacturing processes are performed in-house from material procurement (stainless steel, titanium alloys, aluminum, carbon steel, cast iron, and copper etc.), to MC, CNC lathe machining, grinding and 3D measurement. We also offer services in the area of tempering, including exterior coating, chrome plating (from 2 microns) and flaw detection. We also have experience in precipitation hardening of SUS630 grade steel (to polish). Imaizumi Seiki has a room temperature chamber that remains at 20℃ and can manufacture parts with inside/outside diameter concentricity to an accuracy of 1 micron.

Machine polishing toolsAfter machining a metal surface on NC machine tools, such as machining centers etc., using tools, including ball-end mills etc. to a specific shape, we have devised a way to create a mirror-finish (surface roughness within Ra50nm) with one chuck by using a machine polishing tool affixed with a special rubber bonded grind stone (hybrid rubbing).
