Saint Anne Parish Bulletin St. Anne Parish 20 Boston Road Southborough, MA
God’s Time
In God’s own good time, not ours, the
Promise of salvation is fulfilled. Abraham and Sarah were promised a
land and as many descendants as there are
stars in the sky. Finally they received a son, Isaac, and his aged mother laughed at the very idea of him. They all lived out their lives in expectant faith that
the Lord’s promise would be kept. Joseph,
Mary, Simeon, and Anna saw the infant Jesus who
despite all obstacles, would be a light for the nations and the glossy of the people Israel.
God still gives us time to follow Jesus and to
place faith in the Savior.

PRAYER SPONSOR PROGRAM FOR FIRST HOLY COMMUNION AND CONFIRMATION CANDIDATES: In order to involve our whole parish community in the Sacrament Program of First Communion and Confirmation we have developed the Prayer Sponsor Program. It involves parishioners like you, who choose to sponsor a Candidate with prayer as they prepare for their Sacraments. Prayer is a powerful way to support our candidates especially as they journey towards God and His Sacraments. Please take an envelope from the basket labeled Prayer Sponsor in the foyers of the church and pray for that Candidate daily. We also encourage you to send them a card or note by dropping it into the “Prayer Sponsor Mailbox” which will be located in the front entrance of the Church. The box will be there until the end of April. We will forward the card or note to the candidate. This is a wonderful opportunity to let our candidates know that they are being supported through prayer.

CATHOLIC FAMILY PRAYER (In Honor of the Holy Family)
O God, Heavenly Father, it was part of Your eternal decree that Your only-begotten Son, Jesus Christ, the Savior of the human race, should form a holy family with Mary, His blessed
mother, and His foster father, Saint Joseph. In Nazareth, home life was sanctified, and a perfect example was given to every Christian family. Grant, we call upon You, that we may fully
comprehend and faithfully imitate the virtues of the Holy Family so that we may be united with them one day in their heavenly glory. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.
