Between Stateline Road and the 18th St. Expressway there are hundreds of children who aren't motivated, whoaren't inspired, and who don't dream. Within the Rosedale community, there is a large disconnect in thefundamentals of educating creativity and boosting the imagination of children.

From gathered research, we've realized that Rosedale is missing a centralized public library or library system. We
emphasize the word 'system' because the lack of circulation within the community is greatly needed. Althoughthe nearby area of Argentine provides its community with a very established and reputable library, the accessibilityfor Rosedale residents to benefit, from that literary source of creative and academic knowledge, is hard to come
by.

A concern that has surfaced with all these resources is the distance and the static nature of where they stay.Through graphic design we want to change this static social behavior by creating a circulation and exchangesystem where children in middle schools, elementary schools, and church goers can share their own academicresources and supply other literary hubs with new content to enrich, engage, inform, and delight.

We are trying to reach children, primarily students in the 2nd through 6th grade levels, by fulling the needs ofwhy they need a literary form of exchange. Children from high-needs schools suffer most, including those fromlow-income neighborhoods, immigrant or non-English-speaking families.
