The Revival Run Guide For
Prayer Rooms
Welcome to the Revival Run / 24-7 Prayer Guide_Since January 2011 , people have been
setting out on God adventures that
involve wooden stakes , travelling
beyond their own churches and
towns and a whole load of prayer .
Something that we now call a
Revival Run .
These adventures have planted
prayer stakes all over the country
and beyond with prayers of revival
for communities other than our own ;
for areas that God places on our
hearts and that are outside of our
own homes and churches .
These prayer moments embrace the
notion of ‘preferring one another in love' (Romans 12 :10) and the attitude of being selfless for
the kingdom of God . They are acts
of kindness to the stranger and
extreme generosity from one church
to another as we pray big , fat ,
audacious prayers of revival for
places and people that we may or
may never meet .
This prayer breaks down walls ; it's
a universal prayer of blessing
that cries out 'We are one church' and blurs the edges of our church
circles , visions and dreams . What
would it matter if God poured
out his presence in one place and
not another? All that matters is
that we play our part in calling
out for an unprecedented move of
His Presence .
What if? People began to to pray for other
churches, towns, schools and colleges beyond there communities?
So we want to encourage you , even
dare you to . . . Take a stake , take
a prayer and plant in the ground
loaded with a cry to Gods heart to
pour out a move of God in the land .
Be the adventure_
The Revival Run story_If you get woken up at 2am with
one of those God inspired moments
you know it has to be worth getting
up for and I awoke one night
in November 2010 in this way ,
strongly feeling that we needed to
partner with a prophetic word over
our church that a move of God was
going to break out from our region
and reach the most northern and
western parts of the UK mainland .
I heard a simple whisper_Would you take a risk with some
prayer , take a prayer stake and
stick it in the ground wherever you
felt God lead you and pray your
biggest , most audacious prayers of
revival for that place?
Would you have the courage to
travel to those places to pray
regardless of how foolish it might
seem , for a move of fresh God
to break out . Would you be the
adventure?
Then I thought_What would happen if people
from all over the country , and
internationally , began to pray for
other towns , other churches and
other communities beyond their own
territories? Praying the best prayers
that they would ever pray for their
own town and give them away to
another place . Could you imagine!
I saw a vision of trails of fire
over a map of the UK being formed
from the south to the north , north
to the west , west to the east and
then they simply went everywhere .
It was chaos yet beautiful ; it was
revival prayers being given away
from one place to another .
Can you imagine the possibilities of
people willing to go out of their
comfort zones on a prayer adventure
for another place?
Will you be the adventure?
Take your prayer stake , plant a
prayer and post where and when
you prayed on our website and be
expectant that God will move .

Revival run and Team Leader of
Global Generation Church .
Stop1 . _ take some time to stop and invite God to invade your
prayer adventure .
Think2 . _ about where the Holy Spirit is wanting you to go
(often it's the place you are already thinking about) .
Go3 . _ make a plan of exactly where you should go and plant
your prayer stake . Think
Big , Think Adventure and
Think Different .
Be prepared4 . _ check out the Revival Run survival kit on
the website and check you have
everything you need to 'be the adventure' .
Travel light // take only 5 .
what you need_ pack light and travel light . Make sure you
have a little money on you and
a mobile phone just in case , and
remember to let other people
know where you are going .
10 Revival Run Commandments_
With every adventure comes the need
for a little wisdom for the journey .
So we came up with the Revival Run
10 Commandments to make sure that
you can be fully prepared and get
the best out of your God adventure
Don6 . 't go it alone_ Jesus said when you go , go in two's (at least) . Draw others into your
Revival Run adventure_ who knows they might find Jesus
along the way . (Maybe get your
youth/house group to go prayer
staking together)
Get some intel7 . _ its always good to make a little research into
where you are going . Why not
google 'revival in such and such' and see what comes up? Find out the oldest church
in the area or if your brave
enough , send out a message in
your church to see if anyone
knows a church leader you can
pray for in that place .
Be what it says on the label8 . _ If you are asked what you are
doing you have to tell them the
truth no matter how foolish it
may seem! You are on a Revival
Run and wanting God to bless
that place_ that is the true reason you are there (and then
offer to pray for that person) .
Be Good News9 . _ Revival Runners pray prayers of blessing and
hope , using Psalm 24 as the
benchmark of our prayer ,
inviting the King of Glory to
open up the ancient wells of
revival and invade that place
with his Presence .
Be relational10 . _ Each of us are representatives of the Kingdom ;
co – partners with God in being
who He is , right here and now .
Which means that a Revival
Runner needs to be relational
with who-ever they meet and wherever they are . It's likely
that God will put people in
your path and relationships/
connections will be formed all
over the place so be sure to
leave an impression! (who knows
you may even entertain angels)

Each persons Revival Run is unique
and has its own story to tell . It's these stories that create faith to
believe that God is at work in each
of us as well as the places we visit
and pray for .
It's these stories that we want
every Revival Runner to share
through the website , Facebook and
Twitter because when we do it fuels
the momentum of what God is doing .
Just imagine loads of sparks
of God at work and your
Revival Run being a bucket of
petrol being thrown all over
those sparks!
So when you go on your
Revival Run we need you to
Make a note of your story , 1 .
where you went and why .
Make your own video diary or 2 .
photo story (just use the camera
on your phone)
Upload your story or video 3 .
through the website , Facebook
or Twitter .
Make some noise about your 4 .
Revival Run story and encourage
others to be the adventure!
Stories create faith, faith creates courage and courage creates action_
fuel

Kingdom Come UK year of prayer_During 2012 Revival Run is joining in
with Kingdom Come UK year of prayer .
We're going to pray together . . .
hundreds , probably thousands of
prayer rooms of every denomination ;
in schools , colleges and universities
all over the UK and Ireland ,
praying for days , weekends , whole
weeks or more . And not just prayer
rooms . . . we're encouraging people
to pray in all kinds of ways , in
all kinds of places , during this
year including doing your very
own Revival Run . Prayer groups
will gather in communities and
workplaces , people will be prayer
walking every local street , others
carrying prayer stakes and planting
them all over the UK and Ireland
(and probably beyond our islands
too!) Where will you go during KCUK?
We're going to pray in the UK
and Ireland like we've never
prayed before . Building on recent ,
unprecedented years of non-stop prayer in Scotland ('The Big If . . .')
and in Northern Ireland and the
Republic of Ireland ('What If . . .')
Prayer , in all kinds of places ,
prayer that spills out into mission
and justice .
- Can you imagine it?
