(EXECUTIVE)-MALE/FEMALE IN DELHI POLICE
1. Applications are invited from Indian Nationals to fill the following post of Constables
(Executive)-Male/Female in Delhi Police under the following categories in the pay scale of
PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs. 2000/- and other allowances as admissible.
Recruitment will be held at Guwahati, Assam. The candidates who are native/Permanent
Resident (PRC issued by competent authority of Govt. of Assam) and fulfil the job
requirement for the post shall only be eligible to participate in this special recruitment:-

NOTE:
i) Age for the post of Constable (Exe.) Male is from 18 to 21 years as on
01.01.2015 respectively i.e. those born not earlier than 02.01.1994 and not later
than 01.01.1997 will be eligible. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC etc. is as
per rules.
Age for the post of Constable (Exe.) Female is from 18 to 25 as on 01.01.2015
respectively i.e. those born not earlier than 02.01.1990 and not later than
01.01.1997 will be eligible. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC etc. is as per
rules.
ii) Candidates must bring their Native/Permanent residential Certificate having
photograph, issued by the concerned authority of Govt. of Assam.
iii) Candidates seeking reservation benefits for SC/ST/OBC must ensure that they
are entitled to such reservation as per eligibility prescribed in the advertisement.
They should also be in possession of the certificates in the prescribed format in
support of their claim at the time of submitting application form as per
Annexure-“A” and “B”. No other certificate will be accepted as sufficient proof.
iv) The relaxation under OBC category is admissible for those castes notified in the
Central List and the List issued by the Govt. of Assam.
v) The sportsmen/sportswomen of distinction who have represented a State at the
national level and the country at the international level in sports during preceding
three years from the date of advertisement of vacancies. The Sports Certificate
should have been issued in the proforma attached at Annexure-C & D having
photograph of the candidate duly attested by the Secretary of the issuing
State/National Sports Federation. The issuing federation/Association conducting
State/National championship should be affiliated with State/Indian Olympic

Association. The relaxation for the post of Constable (Exe.)Male is admissible to
the sportsmen who participated in Athletics, Swimming, Shooting, Boxing,
Cycling. Wrestling, Gymnastics Judo, Weightlifting, Karate, Equestrian, Archery,
TableTennis, Tennis, Badminton, Triathlon, Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Basketball,
Football, Kabaddi (circle Kabaddi/beach kabaddi), Hockey and Cricket.
vi) For Constable (Exe.) Male candidate, minimum chest expansion has to be 4
cms, failing which he will be disqualified.
vii) Those candidates who are declared not qualified in Physical Standards, i.e.
height and chest, may prefer an appeal, if they so desire, to the appellate
authority present on the PE&MT ground on the same day. The decision of the
appellate authority will be final and no further appeal or representation in this
regard will be entertained.
4 (A) PHYSICAL ENDURNCE TEST (QUALIFYING) FOR THE POST OF CONSTABLE

Note:
I) Those who qualify in the race will be eligible to appear in the long jump
and high jump.
II) Three chances will be given to qualify in long and high jump.
III) There shall be no appeal against disqualification in race, long jump & high
jump.
IV) Candidates who qualify in Physical endurance Test will only be eligible for
Physical measurement as mentioned above.
5 (A) BONUS MARKS FOR THE POST OF CONSTABLE (EXE.) MALE:
(a) A candidate whose height is 178 Cms or more will be given 1(one) bonus mark.
(b) Candidates possessing NCC 'C' certificate will be given 1(one) bonus mark.
5 (B) BONUS MARKS FOR THE POST OF CONSTABLE (EXE.) FEMALE:
(a) A candidate whose height is 165 Cms or more will be given 1(one) bonus mark.
(b) Candidates possessing NCC 'C' certificate will be given 1(one) bonus mark.
6 .WRITTEN TEST FOR THE POST OF CONSTBALE(EXE)MALE/FEMALE :-
All candidates, who qualify the Physical Endurance & Measurement Tests, shall be
put through a written test of one and a half hour (11/2) duration which will carry 100 marks.
The question paper will have (100 questions and will) be of objective type and will include
questions on Reasoning [35 Marks], General Knowledge/ Current Affairs [50 Marks] and
Numerical Ability [15 Marks]. The question paper will be bilingual (English and Hindi).
7. MEDICAL STANDARD FOR CONST.(EXE.) MALE/FEMALE
i)The minimum distant vision should be 6/12 of two eyes (without glasses) and shall be
free from colour blindness.
ii) Candidates who have undergone Lasik surgery for improvement of their vision (Eye
Sight) will be eligible if their vision (Eye Sight) is found normal after the conduct of the
following Tests at the Govt. Hospital:-
1. Contrast sensitivity. 2. Dim light vision(Mesopic vision) 3. Glare acuity
(iii)The candidate must not have knock knees, flat foot, varicose vein, loss or deformity of
fingers & chest and joints, Halux valgus, haluxrigidus, squint in eyes, bow legs and
other deformity including loss of any part of body.
(iv)The candidates should be of sound state of health, free from defect, deformity or
disease likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties. No relaxation is
allowed to any category of candidates on this count.
8. CHECKING OF ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS/CERTIFICATES FOR ELIGIBILITY
CRITERIA FOR ALL POSTS:-.
i) All the candidates, are required to bring their original documents/certificates at the
time of PE & MT, pertaining to Age, Education, Caste, Native/PRC of Assam, NCC (if
any) and Sports certificate for the candidates seeking age relaxation along with the
attested/self-attested photocopies of all the documents/certificates. The candidates
already in Govt. service will also submit NOC from his deptt./organisation at the time of
PE&MT.
ii) The Original certificate would also be checked at the time of bio-metrics of all the
candidates declared successful in PE&MT and before the issuance of Admission Card for
written test. The candidates will also be required to submit self-attested photo copies of all
the documents/certificates.
10. MODE OF FILLING UP OF APPLICATION FORMS
(A) ONLINE APPLICATION FORMS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE ON
www.dpsrda.in.
i. An applicant may fill all the information mentioned as prescribed in the application
form as per the format available in the online portal.
ii. A recent coloured passport size (35 mm x 45mm) photograph with name plate taken
in red background and signature of the applicant on the photo should be uploaded
at the appropriate place in the Online Application Form.
iii. An applicant has to bring a Demand/Bank Draft/Banker's cheque of amount Rs.
300/- as fee in favour of DCP/Recruitment Cell, New Police Lines, Delhi (payable
at Delhi) which should be valid for 6 months at the time of PE&MT Test at the
PE&MT venue. The application fee for SC/ST and female candidate is exempted,
however they will have to produced photocopy of caste certificate duly attested by a
serving Gazetted Officer at the time of PE&MT Test.
Note:
The candidate has to bring Original certificates (Testimonials) along with their
copies self-attested at the time of PE&MT.
The candidates, seeking age relaxation on sports basis must note that the
Sports certificate should of current three years and the issuing Sports Federation
conducting the National/International Championship should be affiliated with
State/Indian Olympic Association. The candidates will be required to produce
original copy of Sports Certificate at the time of PE&MT. Candidates must note
that Sports Certificate must be as per proforma at Annexure –C & D.
The candidates, seeking bonus mark for having NCC ‘C’ certificate need to
produce NCC ‘C’ Certificate in Original along with photo copy attested by a
serving Gazetted officer at the time of PE&MT.

12. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
i) Application forms will be rejected if they are:-
a) Incomplete/False information b) Received in duplicate. c) Without latest photograph with signature. ii) Candidates already employed with Govt. can apply after intimating to their
Head of Office/Department and need not send another copy through proper channel. They will have to provide N.O.C. from their department at the time of checking of documents.
iii) If ineligibility of a candidate is detected at any stage, his candidature will be
cancelled without any prior notice.
iv) The candidate must be sure of his height, chest and educational qualification,
which should conform to the minimum standards laid down.
v) Any change in the schedule already announced would be displayed on the
website www.dpsrda.in
vi) Candidate should mention his Roll No. /Registration No. on the helpline Email ID
while making any correspondence with the Chairman, Special Recruitment
Board-I, Assam.
vii) Candidates shall bring their original documents/certificates along with their self-
attested copies at the time of PE&MT/Bio-metric. Candidates are advised to
keep with themselves downloaded copy of admit card issued for PE&MT and
one more admit card will be issued for the appearing in the written examination
to successful candidates of PE&MT.
viii) All the candidates can download their Admit card for PE&MT from
www.dpsrda.in (5 days after the last date of submission of application form).
Admit card for the written test will be issued to the successful candidates
immediately after the PE&MT at the ground itself.
xi) No TA /DA will be paid for appearing in PE&MT/Written Test.
