Ready To Show, the only sourcing exhibition in Italy for garments, knitwear and fashion accessories, organized jointly with Intertex Milano, the international fabrics exhibition, was held from October 11 to 13, 2017.
Open to producers and exporters from all over the world, this exhibition is keenly dedicated to participants from Non – European Countries, who are the most welcome and all buyers know that this is the only exhibition in Italy to meet them!
9 countries were represented by exhibitors at Ready To Show, not only China, but also Hong Kong, India, Turkey, Bangladesh, Pakistan, USA, France and Italy!

Visitors came from all over Italy ( 65% of total):

In 2016 Italian importations of fabrics and clothing has decreased by 2%, Tunisia is the big loser ( -‐6%) but also importations from China (-‐6%) and Romania (-‐5%) have gone down.
But, Bangladesh has exported to Italy +7%, Pakistan +12%, Albania + 10% and Turkey +6%.
Despite its market share, has dropped from 22% to 21%, China is still the first supplier, followed by Turkey and Bangladesh.
Our aim for Ready To Show / Intertex Milano on February 2018 will be to introduce a larger choice of suppliers, in order to give Italian and European sourcing managers ( and especially new comers such as chain-‐stores or young brands) an opportunity to meet in Milan a specimen of each type of proposal before organizing their next sourcing mission abroad!

Italia export is always developing all over the world and specially in USA and Russia!
Therefore, suppliers of Italian Fashion are not only concerned by italian market, but at the contrary they can be sure to follow the commercial trends of a market all around the world: when they find an Italian client, they enter into World Fashion Market and not only Italy!
Italy is strategical for fashion market.
