ONGOING ACTIVITIES –3PDA
• Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) is a term for any small mobile hand-held device that provides computing and information storage and retrieval capabilities for personal or business use, often for keeping schedule calendars and address book information handy.
• Several MFIs throughout the world are now using PDAs in their operations. More than a year ago, a MABS participant bank in Mindanao piloted the use of PDA for their daily & weekly collections.
• To-date, there are already 2 banks using the PDA. One MABS partner bank followed in Luzon. Both banks are satisfied and already have realized a lot of tangible and intangible benefits using the PDA.
