Introduction
Purpose of SSV
The single site verification is the basis of cluster optimization. Its aim is to check the basic parameters and basic function instead of performance.
Test Tools
The test tools are shown below:
Data Collection Tool: TEMS 9.1 or higher version
MS type: W995, K800, C702
Data card: Sierra wireless USB 306/ USB 308; or ZTE MF-637 / HW E173U-1ZTE MF-637 / HW E173U-1. The max bit rate of data card should be no less
than 7.2mbps DL/5.76mbps UL.
One test engineer
Sim card( Support voice call and video call, the assigned DL max bit rate is no less than 7.2mbps)
FTP server: 210.245.10.110, user/pass=test/nsn-vms
Auto-answer number:900/9224

Testing Content and Method of single site verification
Parameter checking in UE idle mode
In idle mode, we shall check the following parameters:
Whether frequency and scrambling codes of NodeB are the same as the planning data.
Whether LAC/RAC data are the same with the planned data.
cell selection and reselection parameters setting (q-Qual Min: dB、 q-Rx level Min: dBm);
cell status: Cell Reserved for operator use(IE Type:“reserved”or “not reserved”)
whether the neighbor list in SIB 11 is same with configuration in OMCR.
Pilot Coverage Test of NodeB
DT part:
Vehicle shall be driven at the speed of 30-40 km/h when making coverage test. Check whether CPICH RSCP and CPICH Ec/Io gotten by MS, antennainstallation location is normal, azimuth angle are the same with the planning and whether there is fiber crossing. The route can be selected 200m near the site to
experience the three sectors.
In some specific areas, site distances are less than 500 meters and coverage area is very small and information obtained may inadequate. In such occasion, wa
lk tests are needed to get enough information and data. In dense urban, some GPS receiving signaling may drift and the testing spots may be inconsistent with the pl

anning, and testing data is unusable and GPS solution may be needed.
CQT part:
Select a point 200m far away from each cell. One MS calls 900 /9224 and the call duration is 60s. This item is to check in the near area of the cell the RSCP
and Ec/Io is normal or not in RRC connection mode.
Voice service test
Select a point near the cell. It’s recommended the spots fulfilling the following requirements: RSCP>-75dBm,Ec/Io>-8dB.Make dialing test to guarantee the
normal functionality of voice services. Two MSs make 1 voice service with each other and hold the call for 120 seconds and idle time for 20s. Voice quality is judged
by testing engineers. If there is access failure in the three calls, do the call again to check whether the problem is caused by accident. If the call access failure is notcaused by accident, sub-con should contact with ZTE optimization engineer to solve the problem.
Video service test
Select a point near the cell. It’s recommended the spots fulfilling the following requirements: RSCP>-75dBm,Ec/Io>-8dB. Make dialing test to guarantee the
normal functionality of video services. 2 sets of MS make 1 video service and hold the phone for 120 seconds and idle t ime for 20s. Video quality is judged by testing
engineers. If there is access failure in the three calls, do the call again to check whether the problem is caused by acciden t. If the call access failure is not caused by
accident, sub-con should contact with ZTE optimization engineer to solve the problem
R99 and HSPA FTP data service test
Make the test of R99/HSPA FTP data service in spots with favorable coverage near the tested s ites. The test logs should be saved..

It’s recommended the spots fulfilling the following requirements: RSCP>-75dBm,Ec/Io>-8dB.
For the R99 PS CQT service and HSUPA CQT service, the total download/upload file size should be no less than 100MB and the download duration should be
180s. The num of file is not less than 3. For each cell, downloading/upload for one time is enough.
For the HSDPA CQT test, the engineer will download the file with size 500 MB from the FTP server. Threads are not limited. The download duration should be 1
80s. The average throughput is got in NEMO. For each cell, downloading for one time is enough.
For the HSDPA DT test, the engineer will download the file with size 500 MB from the FTP server. Threads are not limited. And the route can be selected 500m
near the site to experience the three sectors.
SHO test
One MS calls 900 and the engineer does the test around the site to check whether the SHO for each cell can happen.
SMS test
Select a point near the cell. It’s recommended the spots fulfilling the following requirements: RSCP>-75dBm,Ec/Io>-8dB. One MS send one SMS to the oth
er MS in the coverage of same cell.
