• Clarify handshaking compatibility– either Hardware– or Software

• Check actual protocol– use protocol analyzer

• Mechanical Problems– Keep wires short– Stranded wire instead of solid wire– Only one wire soldered per pin– Bare wire should not be visible– Back shell must secure wire
