• Just start creating boards– Make some personal– Make a few that are business-related– Make one that is solely about your business
• Rules of thumb– 80/20 rule– Keyword rich username, boards, descriptions– Mix original pins, re-pins, likes, and comments

Start Pinning!• 3 ways:
– Surf the ‘net. When you find something cool, go to Pinterest and “Add” it
– Install the “Pin it” bookmarklet (works in any browser) and simply navigate to a page you want to pin and click the bookmarklet. Go to Goodies (http://pinterest.com/about/goodies/).
– Interact with other boards and pinners!• Re-pin their pins • Like them (2 kinds of “likes”)• Share them (2 kinds of “shares”)• Follow them (individual boards or people)
