Analysis of data related to the association

of the study findings with selected demographic variables

Analysis of data related to association of the perceptions of the nursing students towards utilization of the community health nursing bag findings with selected demographic variables was done by using Chi-square test. The p-values 0.820 are large (greater than 0.05), this shows that the age of the nursing students do not have significant

association with perceptions of the nursing students towards community health nursing bag and its utilizationthe p-values 0.060 are large (greater than 0.05), this shows that the gender of the nursing students do not have significant association with perceptions of the nursing students towards community health nursing bag and its utilization. The p-values 0.677 are large (greater than 0.05), this shows that the Professional qualification of the nursing students do not have significant association with perceptions of the nursing students towards community health nursing bag and its utilization. Since all the p-values are large (greater than 0.05), none of the demographic variables was found to have significant association with perceptions of the nursing students towards community health nursing bag and its utilization.

DISCUSSION Majority of the 65.3% of the nursing students had age 18-22 years, 31.3% of them had age 23-26 years and 3.3% of them had age 27-30 years. Most of the nursing students 78% of them were females and 22% of them were males and majority of 100 (66.7%) of nursing students had good perception (Score 73-96) and 50 (33.3%) of them had average perception (Score 49-72) towards community health nursing bag and its utilization. All the p-values are large (greater than 0.05), none of the demographic variables was found to have significant association with perceptions of the nursing students towards community health nursing bag and its utilization.
