How to Enter Manual Checks in Millennium Payroll personnel are always calculating and printing manual checks, or vouchers. This document describes the basic Manual Check procedure in Millennium: (1) The first step is to gather all the information you need including: (A) Employee’s name (B) What are you going to pay them (C) What frequency should they be taxed at (regular frequency, monthly, etc.) (D) What deductions should be taken from the check (E) Do you need to print a manual check, or do you need just the figures to prepare a
check) (2) The next step is to open the Employee “tree” on the left side of your screen:

(3) Then select the employee you want and select the “Information” tab. On the Information Tab, you will see a choice for “Enter a Manual Check”:
(4) Clicking on the “Enter Manual Check” link, brings you to the Manual Check entry screen:
(5) Enter the information you need by setting the correct flags on the screen:
(6) Click on the “Calculate” button and the system will calculate (in this case) the gross-to-net amount. If all you need are the figures, here they are!
(7) If you want to print the check, ensure that the correct printer has been selected under the drop down selection menu under the printer symbol:
(8) Clicking on the “Save Check” button brings up another selection. If necessary, change the period dates. Then, using the drop down slection choose your bank account and enter the manual check number. If you want to only save the information, click on the “Save Check” button. If you want to save and print the check, click on the “Print Check” button, and a manual check will be printed on the printer that you chose in step (7).
(9) If you have sucessfully completed the process, a VM batch will now appear under your Payroll “tree”. This “Voucher/Manual” batch will be processed with your next payroll.
