• Ovary- Surrounds the ovule later becomes a fruit
• Style- Supports the stigma
• Stigma- Receives the pollen grains
Other Parts of the Flower
• Receptacle- the enlarged part of the flower stalk to which all the floral of the flower attach.
• Sepals- the outer protective part of the flower buds.
• Petals- The colored part of the flower used to attract insects
Types of Flowers
• Complete Flowers- have both male and female parts
• Incomplete Flowers- have either male or female parts but not both.
• Monoecious Plants- Have both male and female
• Dioecious Plants- plants have male and female parts on different plant
Pollination- is the transfer of pollen from an anther to a stigma.
