Calling all youth 12 years old to upcoming Seniors in High School: Come join the wonderful world of Dr.

Seuss as it comes alive on the Gates Hall stage this Fall in:

“Seussical: The Musical!”

There will be an OPTIONAL Audition Workshop on Saturday August 12th

at 9 am. This event will help prepare

youth interested in auditioning. Our goal is to educate and empower youth by covering audition skills for Seussical

and future endeavors. Audition materials for Seussical will be introduced at this time. The workshop is not limited to

prospective Seussical participants only. Anyone in the age group can attend and benefit from the expertise of

Director: Autumn Pollock, Vocal Director: Eric Thompson, and Choreographer: Katrina Kaplin.

Auditions for Seussical will take place Saturday August 19th

at 9:30 am and at 2:30 pm.

You only need to attend one time slot, so come to the one that is most convenient for you. There will be a vocal and

a dancing audition as well as some reading of lines. If callbacks are needed they will take place Monday August 21st

at 6:30 pm.

The vocal audition will consist of measures 1-16 of “Oh the Thinks You Can Think!”

“Oh, the thinks you can think! Oh, the thinks you can think if you're willing to try. Think invisible ink! Or a Gink with a stink! Or a stair to the sky! If you open your mind, oh, the thinks you will find lining up to get loose. Oh, the thinks you can think when you think about Seuss!”
