All SIA club members are also a part of an elite team called Ambassadors.
Public Affairs Cadets
The superintendent, Lieutenant Colonel Mark Ryan, and current State Attorney General Jerry Brown and finally our faculty coordinator Major John Wells are the reason we have found success.
Our vision is strong through our daily commitments to leadership and strengthening our bond through raising each other up
Our SIA/Ambassador club has a wide variety of students that represent the diversity of our school
We are a lead by example school.
We go out into the community regularly in order to inform others of OMI and SIA.
We are considered and looked at as leaders in our school and in our community
We award students at our most prestigious event which occurs quarterly, Pass in Review, which is attended by the entire battalion, our founder Jerry Brown, parents, guests, and other VIP. (Three awards are given per quarter)
Our school is set up in a way that volunteering is just a part of who we are.
When a cadet shows interest in volunteering , the cadet first goes to their company TAC team, where their needs are evaluated and students are given a variety of volunteer opportunities that fit that particular cadet’s needs and skill sets.
Project rocket is learned and utilized through LOC class (Leaders of Character), which all cadets are required to take.
