Hello wonderful key clubbers!I have just returned from the Summer District Board Training Conference this
past weekend in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. It was a busy weekend full of train-ing sessions and discussing ideas. I feel once again so inspired after this session and feel extremely motivated to once again serve my home, school, and com-munity once school starts. Look forward to Region Training Conference, Fall Rally, DCMs, and of course more service projects! I look forward to an upcoming
successful school year later this month. Enjoy the rest of your summer and I'll see you all soon!
Love, Mariela Carillo Division 10 North Lieutenant Governor

Region 13 picnic was an amazing experience. Although there were only 5 10 north people present, we man-aged to sell a bunch of buttons and still participate in the spirit battles as division 10 as a whole! From playing huggie bear, to pieing lieutenant governors, the Region 13 picnic was a blast and I can't wait till next year's!

Region 13 picnic was remarkably energetic and fun knowing me as well as my friends, old and new, battled the heat with fundraisers including cooled drinks, desserts, water balloons, and pies to throw at the LTGs' faces! It was motivating knowing all of this was going to a good cause!

At the Region 13 Beach Clean Up, many including myself were able yo reconnect with others, meet new friends, and also meet members from the Goldstone Division of Kiwins. With all the fun icebreakers, we were able to meet new friends, have fun, and end our summer with a splash!

This was my first time at Region 13 Beach Cleanup, and I have to say that I regret not going to this event last year, the experience and friends that I made at the Beach Clean-up is definitely worth remembering. It was great being able to socialize with many people from my school and people all around the region. The spirit in our region is absolutely impeccable, and I love how everyone is like a family and enjoying each others company. I am looking forward to seeing Key Clubbers in future events!

Volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House was a great experience. Along with other key club mem-bers, I was very excited to clean the house and the garden, and organize the food supplies. My efforts along with the key club members’ efforts will allow the families to spend more time with their child. Also, I had the chance to meet and work with amazing key club members from different schools. All of this made my volunteering experience a great and rewarding one, and I am looking forward to more volunteering opportunities at the Ronald McDonald House.
