position is Administration & Finance Officer. I mainly work on the finances but
also do the client & volunteer newsletters.

As a volunteer you are
an important part of the
service.
Volunteers are
responsible for the
plating, packing and
distribution of meals, as
well as reporting back to
the Coordinator on
each client’s immediate
situation.
For insurance purposes,
all new volunteers need
to complete an
application form before
commencing with the
service. Also the

If you notice anything that could
be hazardous

in an effort to avoid any mishaps.

Meals deliverers are our eyes & ears to the
clients wellbeing.
If you notice any deterioration of
health, appearance or signs of abuse
Please mention it to the Coordinator.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
All notices, calendar of event’s or any information that you are asked to give to Clients MUST be given to ALL client.
No matter whether you think it would interest them or not.
We can not make these decisions for them.
We appreciate your co-operation with this matter.

The Flexible Food Volunteers take clients out to social functions
and with the growing number of social events we are always looking for helpers.
Flexible Foods runs only because, we have generous support of all our volunteers. We are a great team of people working with a fabulous client group. We are a work
in progress and always will be……
I have emailed our calendars out as they are completed look forward to each adventure...

Remember...you don’t stop laughing because you

Emergencies… If, on arrival at a clients home, you find they are in urgent need of assistance, please TRY NOT TO PANIC, and use your own judgement in relation to the best course of action. If the client can tell you what he/she wants and this is appropriate, follow the request. DIAL 000 for an ambulance, if the situation seems critical, or if you need advice in a hurry. IMPORTANT—Contact the Co-ordinator/Social Support Officer once you have the emergency situation under control. When it is practicable, please give a full report of the emergency.
