Autumn-Winter2015-2016

We like to make clothes expressing the values we hold in everyday life: the love for beautiful things and kindness.

This values are reflected on the aesthetics of our garments and also throughout the production process.

Our approach to the design, sourcing and manufacture of clothes, maximizes benefits to people and communities, while minimizes impact on the environment.

Cus is a project currently developed in Barcelona.

SUSTAINABLY SOURCED

All fabrics are selected according quality and demonstrating an ongoing commitment to reduce environmental impact. Most of the fabrics we use are made in Europe (80%) and the rest in Turkey (20%). This proximity is essential to achieve as

much traceability as possible of the supply chain (fibre cultivation, spinning, weaving, and dyeing) and as well as to ensure that the fabric has been

produced respecting labour rights.

CONSCIOUSLY PRODUCED

We care about the social circumstances of the people who make our garments. All our collections are produced in Barcelona with

manufacturers that meet legal and social criteria established by the European Union. Our values

go hand in hand with high quality local-made production.

DELICATELY DESIGNED

We like to make clothes moved by beauty. Harmonies and disharmonies or unusualness

and hidden details make us come up with aesthetically pleasant collections. Wearing a Cus garment, having knowledge of how, where and by

whom it has been made, creates an important connection to it.

RECYCLED WOOL

Recycled wool is created from waste wool of fabrics and garments. It has the same good quality and strength as virgin wool and will reduce impact on land, chemicals and amount of animals affected.

This recycled wool is made in Italy.

ORGANIC WOOL

Organic wool comes from sheep that have been grown and fed without fertilizers or pesticides. The care of animals rights are also protected by limitating the over-exploitation of pastures.

This organic wool, is made from sheep grown in Germany and it is spinned and weaved in Austria.

ORGANIC COTTON

Organic cotton grows without the use of chemical pesticides or fertilizers. This kind of farming strives for a balance with nature contributing to a biologically diverse agriculture.

There are two different organic cottons used in this collection. One is spinned in Greece, woven and finished in France; and it is GOTS certified up to the spinning process. The other organic cotton is spinned in Turkey and knitted and finished in Turkey. It is GOTS certified.

LENZING TENCEL

Lenzing Tencel fibre comes from the pulp of eucalyptus tree. The trees are grown on sustainable farms certified FSC. The wood pulp is processed in a non-toxic solution that is recovered and re-used. The use of energy and water is minimal.

This tencel is spinned in Austria and woven in Turkey.

SALMON SKIN

This leather is produced from salmon skin. It is a sustainable alternative to exotic leather. Salmon leather is a by-product form the fishery industry.The production process is developed using renewable hydro and geothermal energy.

This salmon leather is made in Iceland. The skin used is sourced from salmon farms in the Nordic countries.

RECYCLED COTTON & RECYCLED POLYESTER

This fabric is made from 80% recycled cotton and 20% recycled polyester. The fabric is mechanically recycled in Prato using the headers that are trimmed off when cutting the technical textiles. After sorting and reprocessing them, they are spun woven and finished. This means that dyes and chemical additives are not needed.

This fabric is made in Italy.
