getting back to regularmeetings at church - withrevival and other activi-ties, we got off schedule.Bro. Fred had 2 revivalsto preach also. BibleStudy and work with theyouth on Wednesdaynights are as usual thisweek.Billie Teal spent theweek. Monday throughFriday in the hospital inPine Bluff, running testsand on dialysis. Was good to have

Jarred, Wendy and LydiaGrace in service Sundaymorning.Vickie Foster went to

Illinois last week to visither sister.Johnny, Sandy Kelly,

Josh, Kim and JaseSimmons were inBranson Thursdaythrough Sunday. Theyran into several othersfrom Hazen and Carlisle. Janet Booth had test

last week and received agood report. She will behaving further tests soon.

We missed Julie Roachand boys Sunday. John,Jr. preached for PleasantRidge Church Sundaymorning and evening.Billie Teal asked prayer

for her sister BettyFisher, which has hadhealth problems for sometime.There were several peo-

ple who took a few daysvacation, going toBranson over the week-end.Carolyn Vickers spent

the weekend with her sis-ter Mamie Guess.Carolyn lives inHermitage, AR.Patty Felty visited John

and Donna Kelly oneafternoon last week.John and Donna kept

Hospice CommunicationSpecialist Leah Carterwas the guest speaker forthe Prairie CountyRetired TeachersAssociation’s regularmeeting Tuesday Aug.9th at Hurley HouseCafe. Vi Greshampresided for the meetingwith twelve members andone visitor present. Carter talked about the

help the Hospice gives inan effort for a family to beable to make more effi-cient care at the homelonger. She also statedthat Hospice needs morevolunteers as visitors togive the homebound care-givers a little break dur-ing the day.Thelma Gray, secretary

The AngelTree is “to giveChristmas gifts forneedy children in thecounty,” KellyChapman, Councilperisdent stated. “Somepeople may not realizethat there are childrenall over the county whowould not have aChrstmas if it were notfor the Angel TreeProject.
