Dear Colleague,
We at Medanta believe in delivering the global standards in healthcare with high quality patient
care at affordable cost. It is our endeavor to establish centers of excellence at Neuroscience. At
Institute of neurosciences , technology and human skill come hand in hand to provide the best
treatment to patients. With innovative technologies like "Brain Suite" (with Miyabi Intraoperative ©MR), Spine Suite (powered by O-ARM-O2 ), Cyberknife and Synergy S radiosurgery systems,
biplane neuro-intervention laboratory, endoscopic neurosurgery theatre, operation theatre with
capability for Deep Brain Stimulation Surgery as well as Epilepsy Surgery procedures, advanced
neuro-imaging techniques (3 Tesla MRI, 256 slice CT scan, PET scan), the team has proven to be
the pioneers and leaders of the field in the country.
I congratulate the Neuro Intervention Concept Elucidate - Virtual Reality, Organizing Committee
and Chairman NICE - VR for organizing such a successful meeting. I welcome all delegates to
have an enriching academic extravaganza.
Message
Dear Colleagues,
It’s a great pleasure to invite you to the annual NICE meeting which is a focused meeting on
niche topics of the field of Neuro-Intervention. The theme for this year is the complex
aneurysm marathon with an endeavor to be able to discuss the nuances involved in the
treatment of this complex vascular disorder.
We also take this opportunity to launch the imminent technology: VR (virtual reality) , (AR)
Augmented Reality and AI (artificial intelligence) at Medanta Institute Of Neurosciences.
At this meeting, we aspire to show case the unexplored horizons of this technology and
union of the dynamic neurosciences clinical subject and artificial intelligence exhibiting
the wonders that can arise from this union.
With this evolution of technology & devices, we are heading for the exciting times and we
hope you will be a part of this journey of exploring the possibilities.
We welcome you all to Westin, Gurgaon and hope to learn from all of you.
Thanks

Local Tours
Tour of New Delhi
The tour to Imperial Delhi will include a visit to the Qutub Minar, the tallest stone
tower in India. Qutub-ud-din Aibak started it in 1199. Pulling down 27 Hindu and Jain
temples and using their columns erected the attached Quwwat-ul-Islam mosque also
built by him. Then visit Humayun’s tomb, built by the widow of the second Mughal
Emperor, Humayun, it is an outstanding monument in the Indo-Persian style, a
precursor of the Taj Mahal. The tour also includes a drive past the imposing India Gate,
the Parliament building and the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the President’s residence.
Tour of Old Delhi
The area around Red Fort in North Delhi, is part of the historic city of Shahjahanabad,
built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th Century. Now known as Old
Delhi, it remains largely unchanged in its historic ambience and walking through its
narrow lanes will take you back to an earlier time. We first visit Rajghat, the memorial
of Mahatma Gandhi and National Gandhi Museum. The final stop of the tour is the
visit to Red fort (Lal Qila). Built during the reign of Emperor Shah Jahan was a
residence to the royal family.
Temple Tours
Swaminarayan Akshardham in New Delhi epitomizes 10,000 years of Indian culture in
all its breathtaking grandeur, beauty, wisdom and bliss. It brilliantly showcases the
essence of India’s ancient architecture, traditions and timeless spiritual messages. The
Akshardham experience is an enlightening journey through India’s glorious art, values
and contributions for the progress, happiness and harmony of mankind.
The grand, ancient-styled Swaminarayan Akshardham complex was built in only five
years through the blessings of HDH Pramukh Swami Maharaj of the Bochasanwasi
Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) and the colossal devotional efforts of 11,000 artisans
and BAPS volunteers. The complex was inaugurated on 6 November, 2005.
