Ultra-compact cell measurement module
The MCM-IntelliProbe-U10 allows a precise cell voltage monitoring of batte-ries, fuel cells and electrolyzers. It is as well suitable as a reference measuring device for battery management systems. The ultra-compact design, density and temperature resistance allows the application within test benches as well as the operation under harsh environmental conditions in mobile applications e.g. in the automotive or navy field. A separately sold automotive-qualified power sup-ply module allows the operation within 12 V and 24 V vehicle power systems.The wide range of applications allows the use in research and development as well as in series testing with continuous measurement technology.Process modules for measurement signal processing and combination with other modules of the MCM product family are available to enable a PC-inde-pendent operation and a free programmability via scripting engines.

Predestinated for the monitoring of
battery and fuel cell stacks
The intelligent stacking principle and the compact design have to be distinguished beside the excellent electrical and me-chanical properties such as accuracy and temperature range: SMART TESTSOLU-TIONS brings the Lego® principle within the multi-channel measuring technology.
The IntelliProbe modules as „smart sen-sors“ can be stacked similar to Lego® bricks. First module is always an MCM-IntelliProbe-Link for connection of power supply and communication, the last mo-dule is always a MCM-IntelliProbe-U10T for terminating the communication bus-ses.
The signal and power lines are thus di-rectly connected to each other internally without any additional wiring.
The modular IntelliProbe system allows configurations between 1 and 40 mea-surement modules (10 to 400 measuring channels). A further extension up to 44 is possible. For low-channel or low-speed applications the IntelliProbes can send the measurement data directly via CAN-bus. The use of a master module is not man-datory, allowing cost-effective solutions. The modules register hands-off via auto-configuration and start data acquisition independently. The measurement data of all modules are hereby recorded fully synchronized. For high-speed applica-tions, the IntelliProbe stack is connected to the process module (MasterModule). The data transfer will automatically switch to a high-speed LVDS-bus with optimized protocol.
