the Kingdom of God!

From a ‘Hindu Kingdom’ into

Nepal’s children are in desperate need of the hope of Jesus Christ!

You can bring a season of resurrection to the nation of Nepal when you help present the Gospel to millions this Easter season!

The Lord has led our team to undertake a vast Easter ministry outreach that includes:

• National TV broadcast of The GodMan film• Home and church showings of the film• And massive Book of Hope distribution

You may recognize this strategy from our India outreach a few years ago. The Easter TV broadcast and home showing efforts proved to be the largest outreach ever in our ministry’s history, with tens of millions receiving the Gospel message!

We believe by God’s grace, and through the

Pardon our inaccuracyIn the last edition of the Global Report, it was erroneously reported that we had

reached four million children with God’s Word in the state of Chiapas, Mexico. This was an error in our reporting. In actual fact, our program, which is based in

Chiapas, has touched the lives of four million children and youth throughout Southern Mexico — not just in Chiapas alone.

prayers and giving of friends like you, the same thing can happen in Nepal, a nation in desperate need of the salvation story. It was long known as the world’s only “Hindu Kingdom.”

Although there is no longer a king, the vast majority of the people do follow Hinduism: about 80.6%. Another 10.7% are Buddhists. And less than 2% are Christians.

Time for resurrection!

This Easter time, though, Nepali Christians are going to reach out to their Buddhist and Hindu neighbors, invite them into their homes and churches, and present The GodMan film, along with the Book of Hope.

We expect this outreach to connect us with many new church and ministry partners, and to result in thousands, or even hundreds of thousands, of new believers brought into the Kingdom of God.

Nepal has been plagued with armed warfare and government upheaval since the 1990’s. About one-quarter of the people live below the poverty level; 50% of the children don’t make it through the 5th grade in school ... and many hundreds of

thousands of children are forced to work in brick kilns, stone quarries, factories and at other jobs.

They need to know that there is hope, the one hope of Jesus Christ. The GodMan film and our Storying Edition Book of Hope are perfect tools for presenting the love of Jesus to children who can’t read — and of course, we’ll prepare the age-appropriate editions of the Book of Hope for schoolchildren and those who can read, too.

Pray for NepalPLEASE PRAY FOR NEPAL THIS

MONTH AND NEXT MONTH! Easter is Sunday, April 24.

• Pray for the funding for TV broadcast time, to print and ship the books, plus produce DVD copies of the film for home and church showings.

• Pray for new church and ministry partners to be empowered for presenting the Gospel to every child and youth in Nepal.

• Pray for Hindu and Buddhist children and families to receive the hope of Jesus Christ and find resurrection this Easter.

Thank you for standing with us to bring hope and new life to the next generation in a desolate nation in need of God’s grace and love. Your partnership makes a powerful difference, as do your prayers.

who is the one true God?A Muslim child’s life transformed!

Rafique had always prayed to Allah. He was very zealous for a child and

tried hard to live all the precepts of Islam. But then last Christmas ... he saw a film

about Jesus, The GodMan.Rafique thought he knew who Jesus

was, a prophet — not as important as the prophet Mohammed, but still a holy man.

After he saw the film, he wasn’t sure.Rafique also received the Book of Hope,

and it was clear in the pages of this book that Jesus was more than a prophet, He was the Son of God!

At Rafique’s school, he knew his teacher was a Christian, so he asked her, “Who is the one true God? Is it Jesus, or Allah?”

Using the Scriptures, Rafique’s teacher told him about Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world, the one true God. Today, Rafique joyfully follows the Lord!

Christmas 2010 global outreaches still bearing fruit!

Thank you to everyone who participated in last year’s holiday outreaches through your generosity and prayers — what an impact you made!

A brief follow-up on some of the global outreaches:

• More than a million children and youth saw The GodMan film in private showings, and many thousands have chosen to follow Jesus.

• OneHope Ghana sponsored a singing competition between eight schools in one new area of ministry for us with a “Carol’s Day” on Friday, December 10. Hundreds of students attended, and 100 made a decision for Christ.

• Our teams fed 8,000 hungry children a holiday meal in poor areas of Madagascar, and distributed Christmas presents and God’s Word, too: more than 177,000 children received a presentation of the Gospel!

• Russia’s Angel Tree ministry touched the lives of 65,000 children and youth who have a mom or dad in prison — and at least 500 children chose to follow Jesus.

• North America’s OneHope-participating Angel Tree mission presented the Gospel to 22,300 children and youth. The Book of Hope was distributed by 289 participating churches with

Prayer Guide for OneHope partnersYour prayers make the difference for children all over the world!

Studies show children between the ages of 4 and 14 are the most fertile mission field for evangelism — It’s critical to reach them with God’s Word and pray for them.

Please join OneHope in concerted prayer for the next generation. Request your free prayer guide, Praying Through the 4/14 Window.

• Includes information on unique challenges to child evangelism.

• Spotlights attacks of the enemy upon children in the

4/14 Window and how to pray for victory over them.

• Shares the heart-felt needs of children in various nations and regions.

• Shares the testimonies of lives transformed, from across the globe.

We believe the power of God’s Word, combined with the prayers of God’s people, cannot fail. Please join us in prayer for the children of the world. Simply return the response form with your gift and request your prayer guide today!

their Angel gifts, and also given to other children in the households who were not on the Angel Tree list.

• Every participating church in the United Kingdom’s “Bag of Hope” initiative was left wanting more Bags of Hope! Each Bag of Hope contained little gifts and a Book of Hope.

Over 125,000 Bags were distributed, and people were asking for more.

• “Jesus is our hope!” were the words shouted by the 814 students at one of Taiwan’s most prestigious Buddhist schools! Our team had been invited to come and explain the true meaning of

Christmas, and the message certainly came through!

There were many other outreaches all over the world, and individual reports are still coming in. We’ll share more in the future. In the meantime, thank you for your prayerful giving that made all this possible!

His dad went to prison. His mom was an

alcoholic who couldn’t handle him.

So Sergey went to a special school ... a boarding school for orphans and foster children.

“They let me spend the holidays with her, and when I’m there, she tries to stay away from drinking. I would like to live with her again,” Sergey says wistfully.

Sergey and all the children in his boarding school were part of the Christmas Angel Tree outreach in Chita, Russia, and they received presents from local believers, along with a copy of the Book of Hope,

a special Christmas party, and an outreach event with a showing of The GodMan film.

The film and the book both spoke to Sergey of a God who loves

him, and will never leave him. He chose to follow Jesus and is now

attending the local church that presented the Christmas outreach for him and his friends — his best friend Misha is also attending church and the new Children’s Club the church presents at their boarding school every week.

Now Sergey is praying his mother will also come to Christ.

“I told her about Jesus, and that He could help her stop drinking. I believe He helps if we believe with all our heart,” Sergey says.

Thanks for bringing hope to Sergey. Please pray that his mother, too, will come to embrace the hope of Jesus Christ.

Please pray with Sergey for his mom’s salvation

Sergey received the Book of Hope and chose to follow Jesus because of a holiday outreach.

TYou gave a gift that changed a whole family!

They went to church.Sixteen-year-old Ravo and his

family attended an old church in Madagascar, one that could trace its roots back to the 1800’s ... but no one in the family really knew what it meant to follow Christ.

Ravo’s family was well off. Church was more like a social club.

Then Ravo went to a OneHope Christmas outreach with some friends — more out of curiosity than anything else. What he saw amazed him!

Here were other young people, none of them half as rich as Ravo, and yet they were filled with joy!

Most of the time, if I ask my parents for something, I get it without a problem,” Ravo said. “But it did not make me happy, and even most of the time I would desire something more — I was never

satisfied with what I got.”He wondered how these young

believers could be so happy. I was so jealous of their way

of expressing their joy in life, and especially that they always had peace in their daily lives.”

From them, Ravo learned that Jesus was not just a historical person in the pages of a dusty Bible, but a living Savior and Friend.

Ravo chose to follow Jesus, joined his new friends in a weekly Hope Club, and began praying daily for his family to come to know Christ in this way, too.

Today his entire family, amazed by the transformation in Ravo, have also chosen to follow Jesus!

Thank you for helping to make possible a new life and new hope for the future for Ravo and his family.

Ravo was drawn to Christ by the joy he saw in the lives of local believers at the Christmas outreach.

A personAl word from

Founder Bob HoskinsandPresident Rob Hoskins

Dear Friend,

You’ve helped to build the ministry of OneHope through the strength of your prayers and your generosity. Our foundation is firmly set on the power of God’s Word combined with the prayers of His people.

We’re encouraging you to join in prayer again with us, for all the children and youth of the world, and especially this month and next month, for the children of Nepal.

Our Easter outreach there has the potential to introduce the Gospel message to millions of children and youth, and their family members. It will also open doors to stronger partnerships with churches and local ministries committed to reaching the next generation.

Please pray for an effective Easter outreach. And of course, please pray for funding. We have TV broadcast time to buy as well as books to print and ship, and The GodMan film discs to copy and deliver.

Thank you for your prayers, and for your faithful partnership! We believe God will reward you for your compassion toward the children.

OneHope, founded in 1987 by missionary Bob Hoskins, and directed by Assemblies of God missionary Rob Hoskins, is reaching the world’s children and youth with Scripture that speaks directly to their lives and culture. Through OneHope, in collaboration with churches and ministries — and working with local governments, schools and non-governmental organizations — a message of hope has been given personally to over 714 million children and young people in 125 countries through its Book of Hope publications, The GodMan animated film, and other Scripture engagement tools. Using outcome-based research, OneHope continues to innovate its ministry model and offers its expertise and resources to other child-focused organizations.

From hopeless grief tojoy and hope

Hector’s father died, and the boy was filled with grief. Today, he has found new hope, the hope of Jesus Christ.

His father was slain in the street.

An innocent bystander in Mexico’s

drug wars.Hector was only 12 years old ...

he didn’t understand how his papa could go out for groceries and just never return.

His mother was broken-hearted, and terribly worried about her son. She didn’t allow him to attend the funeral, because she was afraid the sight of his father’s body in the coffin would scar his mind forever.

But in a way, that might have actually been better, because Hector felt he’d never been allowed to tell his father goodbye. His sadness seemed to have no end, and there was no comfort for his loss ...

Until he received a little packet entitled “Dealing with the Death of a Father,” and inside, found the Hope Xtreme edition of the Book of Hope. The book seemed to be telling him that he could once again find peace,

and hope for the future. He found out about the church

that had given him the packet, and went there to ask for help. Soon he chose to follow Christ as Savior ... and although he still misses his papa terribly, today, Hector has new hope and God is helping him work through his grief.

Thank you for making it possible for a little boy to discover, there is eternal joy in the love of Christ.
