HAVE A BLESSED EASTER SUNDAY FOR HE IS RISEN
If you didn’t make it to the Rise up Rally, or are just looking for another fun retreat experience, the Archdiocese is having their bi-annual Pilgrimage Walk form the Grotto to the Cathedral on April 23. This day includes 2 youth rallies, closing Mass with Archbishop Sample and a 6 mile walk through Portland (with breaks in between). As it is the Year of Mercy, we have the opportunity to both attend a pilgrimage and go through 2 “ Holy Doors” all in the same day. You can learn more about the Holy Doors and the Year of Mercy at www.pdxmercy.org. Forms are due Thursday March 31

HUNGERING TO BUILD COMMUNITY
We follow Jesus this week or our Lenten journey as he enters Jerusalem, a community he knew well. CRS Rice Bowl ask us to prayerfully enter into our own communities, to find those who are hungry and thirsty, those who need our help. How does our Lenten journey motivates us to serve those we encounter in our daily lives? Visit crsricebowl.org for more.

Dear Parishioners, We are in the process of looking at getting a new sound system in the church. To ensure that we get the best possible sound system for our needs, your continuous input is crucial. Please fill out the survey in the vestibule if you have comments or questions about the sound quality. Right now we want to make sure that you can hear from where you are sit-ting. We will adjust the tone, loudness, and clarity based on your input. Please note that the speakers we have now in the church are temporary, it is only placed there to see if you can hear from the back and around the church. I ask for you patience as we con-tinue to work with this. There is no quick solution to this. There is an old saying’ “ Rome was not built in a day.” Apparently the same is true for a sound sys-tem. God bless you in this upcoming Holy Week.
Jubilee Year of Mercy Prayer
Lord Jesus Christ, You are visible the face of the invisible Father, Of the God who manifests his power above all by forgiveness and mercy: Let the Church be your visible face in the world, Its Lord risen and glorified. You willed that your ministers would also be clothed in weakness In order that they may feel compassion for those in ignorance and error: Let everyone who approaches them feel sought after, loved, and forgiven by God. We ask this of you, Lord Jesus, through the intercession of Mary, Mother of Mercy, you who live and reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit for ever and ever. Amen
