half–hitch knot, and sew through the first two Cs in this round (f–g).
3. Attach a needle to the tail, and add an 110 seed bead in the center. End the tail.

LARGE STAR1. On 1 yd. (.9 m) of thread, pick up an alternating pattern of one A and one color D 150 seed bead six times. Leav-ing a 6-in. (15 cm) tail, tie the beads into a ring with a square knot, and sew through the first two beads to exit a D.
2. Work as in rounds 1–3 of “Small star” with the following beads (refer to FIGURE 2):ROUND 1: Three Ds per stitch (a–b).
ROUND 2: One F, one C, and one F per stitch (b–c).
ASSEMBLY1. Place a Small start next to a Large star so two points of each are touching. With the thread exiting a tip C of the Small star, sew through the adjacent A, five E, and A of the Large star. Continue through the corresponding two Cs, E, F, E, and two Cs of the Small star to com-plete the join. Retrace the thread path, and end the thread (How-to).
2. Continue connecting the Large and Small stars together in an alternating pattern. You should end up with a Small star at each end.
3. Add 12 in. (30 cm) of thread (How-to) in an end Small star, and exit a tip C opposite the existing join. Pick up six Cs and one loop of the clasp, and sew through the tip C again. Retrace the thread path a few times, and then sew through the beadwork to exit the adjacent tip C that is aligned with the other clasp loop. Repeat to connect the second loop to the Small star. End the thread (How-to).
4. Repeat step 3 at the other end of the bracelet.
