WePhoto - 2016 - Macro - Vol 2
Dear all, I am very proud to introduce the new collection “The Series”. It was not so long ago since we have launched the first eBook, including the photo-graphic work of the 15 administrators, who at that time were cooperating in the “WePhoto” group. Sin-ce then, we have published 21 eBooks and the Spe-cial edition “Calendar 2015” and now two Calen-dars 2016.
This new collection – The Series - is made of diffe-rent eBooks, each one (or more than one if requi-red) related to a specific photographic theme, in-cluding the artworks of several authors from Italy and abroad. This is the second eBook of the third line of this new collection and has been dedicated to Macro and Close-Up Photography.

Macro and Close-Up
Macro and Close-Up
Macro and Close-Up
This photographic genre describes a particular world, hidden, little, secret. Explore this world is not easy. Besides the professionalism, the care of the image, you have to be patience. Wait, explore unseen places to give us a vi-sion of a hidden beauty. Insects that look like giant of fairytale, colors, fasci-nating forms. I want to thank, on behalf of all readers, these explorers that we give visual excitement otherwise unreachable.

My name is Andrew Oostenbroek, I live in Brisbane Au-
stralia. As a child I watched in amazement as my father
produced amazing images from his Minolta SLR camera
showing them on family slide nights. Most of all I was
captivated by his nature shots and macro. Sadly he pas-
sed away when I was just 12 years of age but his photo-
graphy passion lived on through me. I am purely self
taught having never had a lesson. I have done a lot of rea-
ding and experimenting over the years. Photography is a
passion I will have for life. My camera is a Sony SLT-a77
and the lenses I use are many consisting of a combina-
tion of Sony and Zeiss brand lenses.

I am a psychologist and photography is a moment of pleasu-re and relaxation. My father taught me the pleasure of photo-graphing. Shooting details is a great exercise that leads to a rich and beautiful world. Textures, colors, details, bring us informa-tion that enrich our senses. I'm interested in flowers and en-joy exploring the many different angles. Always a surprise! Playing with light, play with shadows, sharpens my percep-tion. I have a lot to learn, and it motivates me to read a lot, study and learn from photographers friends. Practice and study are infallible weapon to improve the art of photo-graphy.
My camera is a Canon T 3i. The lenses are a Canon 100mm MACRO f/2.8 and Canon 18/200mm sometimes in combina-tion with 25mm extension tube.

I live in Cassino, Italy, where I was born in 1981. My passion for photography originated in the early teenage years and has gradually went intensifying and focused on the natural kind. The area where I live allows excursions and is crossed by streams, lush fields, isolated paths; but just look out the terrace of the house, to see the little \ great wonders of the animal and plant kingdom.
For me, photography is just the revelation and appreciation of what the human eye perceives hastily in his restless wan-derings.
Currently, for the macro, use Canon 700D with lens Sigma 105mm f / 2.8 DG OS HSM Macro combining, if necessary, with lens Raynox DCR-250.

My name is Fabio Pisciotta , I was born in Palermo
(Italy), city in wich I also live. I always had a passion for
photography, in 2007 I discovered and fell in love with Ma-
cro Nature Photography , a kind of photography in my
opinion beautiful, full of fascion, that requires a lot of pa-
tience, details, depth of field, composition, light and
backgrounds. Macros are a mix of sacrifice, patience
and study. The sacrifice of getting up very early, the pa-
tience of looking for what you want to photograph and
the study for the construction of the shot. So when I can,
I get up ver yearly and just go. Now the question is
"What do youwant to communicate with a macro?" The
charm and beauty of the subject, details that usually es-
cape us.

Serious in Macro Photography end of 2014. Lucky to
know some friends that share the same passion and we
grow together in learning and mastering the skills nee-
ded for Macro Photography.
The place I stay nearby (Public Parks and Nasional For-
rest Reserve) offers a great collection of insect species
for my photo shooting especially spiders and beetles. I
love Macro Photography is because they are so nice,
small and colourful thru our Macro Lens which is un-
seem by our naked eye.
Love the Nature and they will love us back …
