Living or Nonliving?That is the question.

We learned that living things need water, sunlight, and air to live

We learned that nonliving things do not need water, sunlight, or air to live.

We as a class walked around the school to see

if we could find some living and nonliving

things. This is what we found.

A clock is nonliving.

A plant is a living thing.

We learned that not EVERYTHING in the butterfly garden is a living thing.

A Rock is not a living thing

We did see a butterfly in the garden and decided it was a living thing because it

needed food and water to live.

The kids saw this and all started raising their hands. This is not a living thing
