Night View Simulation System
Uses infrared technology to illuminate everything in front of the vehicle up to 500 ft
Two lamps in the lower grille project light beams that reflect off objects in the vehicle’s path
Object bounces back to a camera mounted inside the top of the windshield (Lexus USA)
Night View Simulation System Continue…
• A Computer than processes the reflected beams into images that are projected onto the windshield in the driver’s field of visions (Lexus USA)
Intuitive Parking Assist Simulation System
Front bumper fitted with ultrasonic sensors As you approach the bumper, a pictograph
appears on a plasma screen, rendering your location relative to the bumper
• Warning sound from speakers, depending on where the obstacle is located
(Lexus USA)
