1. Kurang tahan lama dan mudah aus dibandingkan restorasi rigid
berbahan logam ataupun porselen.2. Jika menggunakan teknik indirek
memerlukan kunjungan tambahan.3. Lebih mahal dibandingkan restorasi
plastis komposit, karena memerlukan instrument khusus maupun proses
laboratorium.
