JULY 2016
Summer Is InFull Swing at PBS39!
We begin the second half of 2016 coming off of
a blockbuster month. Throughout June, we
hosted memorable events for all ages,
including our Sixth Annual BrewFest,
a performance by Colm Keegan and Laura
Durrant, and the premiere of Second to None:
Liberty High School Grenadier Band at
Bethlehem’s 275th Anniversary Celebration at
SteelStacks. Thank you to all of those who
shared these amazing moments with us!
There’s more where that came from in July.
For instance, Second to None will make its
broadcast premiere during the Local Hour on
Tuesday, July 5th at 7:00pm. Meanwhile, our
Wednesday night lineup is highlighted all
month long with the third seasons of
MASTERPIECE titles Endeavour at 8:00pm
and Wallander at 10:30pm.
Notably, July also means that it’s time for our
annual Production U summer camp.
This year’s camp will take place from July
11th - 15th at the PPL Public Media Center at
PBS39, and is a great opportunity for area
high school students to learn from our Emmy
Award-winning production team.
For more information, call 610.984.8141 or
email [email protected].
We have more fun planned this summer.
Save the date for TeleBear’s Summer Jam,
happening August 10th - 14th from 2:00pm -
4:00pm. These family-friendly performances
will take place during Musikfest at the PPL
Public Media Center at PBS39 on the Air
Products Tell Me More Stage, and will feature
music from top performers from the world of
children’s music. Keep an eye on wlvt.org and
