Program IntakeChildren and youth, between the ages of 0-18, and their respective families. Referrals may come from:

• Family relationships• Parenting techniques• Communication skills• Behaviour management• Life skills strategies

With the program, over 95% of families reported an increased awareness/connection to community resources, over 90% of families demonstrated both an improvement in positive parenting skills and enhanced overall child safety, and over 80% of families experienced healthier inter-relationships within the family unit.

The Journey’s Family Development Program provides support and education to families who are struggling with multiple challenges. These families have either identified a need for support or have been identified as recipients for intervention services in the communities of Willow Creek and the Municipal District of Foothills.
