was the best artist of his time.He died in a car accident when he was 44,

people say that he was driving drunk and crashed.

Jackson’s best painting came out in the 1950’s it was called “Drip period”. Jackson once said “ I feel near more a part of the painting, since this way I can walk round it, work from the four sides and literally be in the painting. This is akin to the methods of the Indian sand painters of the West
